I would like to introduce myself, I am Ms. Brandy. I’m a New York state Department of Education licensed teacher with eighteen years of experience and I am currently a Pre-K teacher at World of Wonders. I am an avid reader, who loves sharing books and stories with her students. I look forward to working with you to assist your child in reaching his/her educational goals.
Our goals are to be able to have each student write his/her name independently before June. I will work with each student on communicating appropriately, follow directions and routines, we will learn sight words, reading and writing. My hope is to prepare each student for kindergarten. I believe together we can encourage a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
My name is Ms. Jenn and I am a group teacher at World of Wonders Early Childcare Center. I am a New York State Department of Education licensed teacher with 10 years of experience working in a preschool setting.
I know it may be difficult to leave your child at school for the first time, but I can assure you that I look at each child as if they were my own. Each school year is filled with lots of fun activities and your child will leave with the knowledge to start Pre-K! We learn our ABC’s, shapes, numbers and so much more! We also work on self-help skills, small and large motor skills, and several other cognitive and social skills. I look forward to watching my students grow over the school year and leave a lot taller, wiser and ready for Pre-K.
My name is Ms. Vivian and I am a New York state Department of Education licensed teacher with 31 years of experience. I recently retired in August and after a week knew that I still needed to teach. I am beyond thrilled to have joined the amazing World of Wonders team. Understanding and interacting with children has been a passion of mine for a huge chunk of my life. All children are natural learners who are so genuinely curious about the world that surrounds them.
As a teacher, I firmly feel that my mission is to facilitate their curiosity and to continue to inspire their beautiful sense of wonder. Every child has an expanse of authentic potential within them, and I want to be an active part of showing them what they are truly capable of. I am a lifelong learner who always tries to improve her art.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Amanda. This is my third year here at World of Wonders and I couldn’t be more excited to work with children and collaborate with the parents.
I understand that this can be a nerve-wracking time for parents, and that it won’t be easy to leave your child at the door with us. I promise you that your child will be in the best care, and I will love him or her as if they are my own.
