Meet Our Teachers

Ms. Brandy

Pre-K Teacher

I would like to introduce myself, I am Ms. Brandy. I’m a New York state Department of Education licensed teacher with eighteen years of experience and I am currently a Pre-K teacher at World of Wonders. I am an avid reader, who loves sharing books and stories with her students. I look forward to working with you to assist your child in reaching his/her educational goals.

Our goals are to be able to have each student write his/her name independently before June. I will work with each student on communicating appropriately, follow directions and routines, we will learn sight words, reading and writing. My hope is to prepare each student for kindergarten. I believe together we can encourage a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Ms. Vivian

Group Teacher

My name is Ms. Vivian and I am a New York state Department of Education licensed teacher with 31 years of experience. I recently retired in August and after a week knew that I still needed to teach. I am beyond thrilled to have joined the amazing World of Wonders team. Understanding and interacting with children has been a passion of mine for a huge chunk of my life. All children are natural learners who are so genuinely curious about the world that surrounds them.

As a teacher, I firmly feel that my mission is to facilitate their curiosity and to continue to inspire their beautiful sense of wonder. Every child has an expanse of authentic potential within them, and I want to be an active part of showing them what they are truly capable of. I am a lifelong learner who always tries to improve her art.

Ms. Amanda

Group Teacher

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Amanda. Here is a little bit about myself: I earned my bachelor’s Degree at Wagner College and I will be graduating with my master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education this upcoming December. This is my third year here at World of Wonders and I couldn’t be more excited to work with children and collaborate with the parents.

I understand that this can be a nerve-wracking time for parents, and that it won’t be easy to leave your child at the door with us.  I promise you that your child will be in the best care, and I will love him or her as if they are my own.

Ms. Theresa

Pre-K Teacher

My name is Ms. Theresa and I am a group teacher for the 3-year-old program. I have been working at World of Wonders for 4 years and I have over 18 years of experience in a preschool classroom. I am currently working towards receiving my bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Some activities I enjoy implementing in the classroom are science, art, and cooking. I believe learning through play is such an important part of the early childhood learning experience.

Ms. Jeanna

Group Teacher

My name is Ms. Jeanna and here is a little bit about myself: I am currently finishing my bachelor’s degree at Brooklyn College in Psychology and a minor in Child and Youth Studies. This is my sixth year working at World of Wonders and I could not be more excited to work with children and collaborate with parents each day. I understand it can be extremely difficult to leave your child in school for the first time, but I will care for your children as if they were my own. I promise to provide a nurturing environment where each child can flourish and explore at their own pace. I am grateful to have the opportunity to help shape young minds and guide children in their early learning process.

Ms. Nikki

Group Teacher

My name is Ms. Nikki and I am a group teacher at World of Wonders Early Childcare Center. I am a devoted, energetic, creative, responsible, loyal and loving teacher with five years of experience working in a preschool setting.

I have had the privilege of working with children ages 2-4 years old. I graduated from Touro College in 2015 with my bachelor’s degree in science and a focus in child psychology. I plan to complete my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education Birth-2nd grade with a dual certification in special education in the next few years.

My goal as a teacher is to be a great role model and leader for our children and to bring out the creativity and imagination in each brilliant child that I have the honor of working with.
